What the app stores

The app stores favorite teams, saved games and forecasts, cached sports reports, chosen filters, source links, optional injury-service address, and alert preferences on your device. Android notification scheduling also stores selected teams, game times and bounded alert history in app-private storage. No user account is offered.

External connections

The app requests scores, schedules, standings, player statistics, injury reports, news and images from ESPN services. Those services receive network connection information such as your IP address, request time and requested URL. Team IDs, league IDs, event IDs and selected dates may appear in sports requests. The app does not send its entire saved-game or prediction history to ESPN as a profile.

When contextual weather analysis is used, venue search terms, country codes, venue coordinates and dates are sent to Open-Meteo services. These coordinates describe the game venue, not the phone's GPS position. The app does not request device-location permission.

If you configure an optional official-injury service, that server receives requests containing league and team identifiers and normal network connection information. The operator controls its hosting, access logs, retention and imported sources; review that operator's policy before configuring it. The optional bundled backend stores collected source reports and source-check state in SQLite; it is not an account database.

Links, notifications and exports

Opening an original story, team website or social profile launches an external browser or app and is subject to that service's privacy practices. Optional notifications are local Android notifications based on scheduled checks, not server push. They require your permission and can be disabled separately for game reminders, team news and official-injury changes. Notification contents may appear on your lock screen under Android settings.

Printing, saving a PDF or exporting CSV sends the selected report to the Android print service or a document destination you choose. Those services and destinations may have their own privacy practices.

Advertising and analytics

This build includes no advertising SDK, analytics SDK, advertising-ID access, purchase system or account registration. The app does not sell your saved records. External providers and configured servers may process connection/request information according to their own terms; absence of an analytics SDK is not a claim that no data leaves the phone.

Security, retention and deletion

Application network requests use HTTPS. Android app-private storage protects local records from ordinary access by other apps; this is not a claim of application-level encryption of every saved field. Cloud backup of app data is disabled. Source images and selected public article links are not secrets. The app does not contain private API or server keys.

Saved games, forecasts and favorites remain until you remove them or clear/uninstall the app. Caches can be replaced as reports refresh. Team-news deduplication history is bounded to 3,000 identifiers and 14 days. Some Android scheduling/history preferences remain until app storage is cleared. Removing a favorite stops future matching alerts; disabling a category cancels that category's background work. Clearing app storage or uninstalling deletes local app data. Documents already exported or printed must be deleted from their destinations separately. External-provider logs are outside the app's control.

Your choices

You can use the app without enabling notifications or configuring an injury server. Android Settings controls notification permission, channel sound and lock-screen visibility. You can remove favorites and saved games in the app and clear all local data through Android app settings. No account-deletion flow is required because the app does not create accounts. Availability, source policies and disclosures may change; review updated policies when installing an update.
